Tea and cakes

In England, in the past people drank tes and ate

cakes at 4 in the afternoon.

Scones are delicious with jam and crem.

But today people only have afternoon tea

when they're away on holiday.

English pubs

A pub is a traditional English bar.

There is traditional English food like roast beef

and fish and chips.

But lots of pubs also offer more international foods

like pasta and curry.
